Museums in Europe and the USA possess illegally exported Minoan ivory statuettes, but the \u201cPalekastro Kouros\u201d was the first to be found in an official excavation. The \u201cKouros\u201d looks suspiciously different to the other ivories.<br \/>\nIn his effort to understand this unique masterpiece, MacGillivray comes up against Evan\u2019s \u201cghost\u201d.
