The actress Anna Synodinou plays the part of two outstanding Macedonian heroines, the Macedonian fighter and teacher Angeliki Metallinou-Tsiomou and the painter of the Balkan Wars Thaleia Flora-Karavia. The camera of Constantine Tseklenis enlivens the biographical travelogue in the very centre of contemporary Macedonia. The scenario draws on Anna Synodinou\u2019s research into the national contribution of Macedonia\u2019s women and on the autobiographies of the two heroines.
