In the 1st century B.C., the Greek historian Diodorus the Sicilian (contemporary with Julius Caesar) discovers the temple of Ramses the II. In his writings he describes \u201cOzymandias\u2019 temple\u201d as one of the most imposing temple of all Egypt. 2.000 years later, dr Christian Leblanc (head researcher of the French National Centre for Scientific Research) and his team proceed to excavations, restorations and study the most famous pharaonic temple.
\nThe film offers us a unique glimpse in the archaeological excavations in Egypt. In quest \u201cto understand and not to discover\u201d, between discoveries of sarcophagus and assessment of the temple\u2019s importance, a new page in the history of this site is being written. Always following the footprints of Diodorus the Sicilian and in the shadow of Ozymandias.
