A historical documentary which after 30 years tries to convey the substance of the experience of the people who “were there”, in the Polytechnic, in November 1973. The history of the military dictatorship in Greece unravels through their testimonies, as well as the cultural impact of world developments towards the end of the 60’s. At the same time, the film looks at the opinions of young people today, who “if they had been there”, like all of us, would have tried to surpass their fears and fight for their country and people. The film includes appearances of Nadia Valabani, Olymbios Dafermos, Yiannis Markopoulos, George Papavassilopoulos, Lambros Papadimitrakis, Nikos Xristodoulakis, as well as students of Athens secondary schools.
