This is a documentary series, which brings children aged 8-12 to face with archaeological discoveries and the looting of antiquities in Greece, Cyprus and Egypt. Children travel into hidden tombs, foreign countries and ancient civilizations to witness the exciting discovery of priceless archaeological artefacts and the dangers these objects face from looters.

The films are based on stunning photography of archaeological sites and their surrounding landscape, from the buried tombs of Aidonia in the Peloponnese to a hidden underground cache at El Bahri, Luxor and the plains of Cyprus.

The films also contain archive footage from fiction films (“Helen of Troy”, the “Mummy”), archaeological discoveries and “reconstructed images” of illicit excavations and looting (a man entering a tomb, hands discovering golden rings, man unwrapping mummies in a tomb, objects hidden in boxes and put into trucks etc). 3D replicas of objects are also used.
